Thus, we are left with two theories. Who is right? Ritter or the majority of scholars?
Personally, I feel Ritter's theory is more likely to be the correct one. On this website, I have prepared several pages with some evidence for Ritter's theory. However, I am, sadly, not able to irrefutably prove his ideas.
